Disruptive innovation was definitely one of my strong points of media management.  It dealt with how to perform quality content, with the introduction to new technology and innovations.  Such as the mobile phone being able to steam video’s changed the way people use their devices.  In our media management we talking about how gold was a disruptive innovation, because it encouraged the 49’er gold rushers to come to California, which in turn colonized the state.  With the rise of streaming software, and the ability to almost download any type of software online through torrents.   Disruptive technologies inevitably force the future by making us think of new ways of how to maximize our performance, just as how the assembly lines changed the way manufacturing companies operate.
